The Pros and Cons of Having Your Wedding In The Spring

A wedding is beautiful no matter what time of year you have it, but let's face it- there are definitely some pros and cons to every season. Maybe this blog post series will help you weigh out your options! Here are a few pros and cons of getting married in the Spring:

PROS:

1. Bridal Show Deals! Who doesn't like saving money? Bridal Shows are hopping in the beginning of the year, take advantage of the deals the vendors offer!

2. Cooler weather. You're just out of Winter and just before Summer. As long as it doesn't rain, the weather should be fantastic for your wedding!

3. Guests are more likely to show up! After being cooped up all Winter, your guests will be beyond ready to leave the house!

4. Tax return. Your tax return can help pay for any final details and payments. The timing works out perfectly!

5. The scenery. Everywhere will be bursting with beautiful Spring flowers and budding trees. What a perfect time to start a new chapter in your life!

CONS:

1. Rain. The unpredictable weather can turn your beautiful outdoor wedding into a rushed inside ceremony. Make sure to make a plan B if you're planning your ceremony outside.

2. Graduations. This time of year is lousy with graduation parties. It might be tough finding an open house-free weekend.

3. Graduations. I'm putting this here twice because not only do you have to compete with the graduates, you might also have trouble finding certain vendors that aren't already booked for graduation parties.

4. College finals. Students may be too deep in studying for finals to be able to attend your wedding. this is a huge factor in today's college-driven world.

5. Allergies. Oh boy! Who wants to hear their guests sneezing and sniffing all day? And what about yourself? The last thing you want to do in the middle of your ceremony is blow your nose!
