How To Include Adults In Your Wedding

Simply asking someone to help you into your dress is a high honor!

Almost everyone has an aunt, uncle, grandparent, cousin, friend, or some other special person they want included in their wedding, but how can everyone be included without making the wedding party over crowded and having too many cooks in the kitchen? Here are a few simple yet special ways to include your loved ones in your wedding!

1. Ask them to give a special reading during the ceremony. A romantic poem, a bible verse, a letter, anything will do! What's more special than  actually being involved in the ceremony itself?

2. If your loved one wants to help run your wedding instead of being a part of your ceremony, assign the cake to them. Ask them to make sure the cake is cut and served properly. They'll feel like they have a large role in the function of your wedding!

If you have someone in your family who has a talent for
music, poetry, or comedy, ask them to perform something!
3. Ask them to pin the boutonnieres on the groom, groomsmen, dads, grandpas, and any other special family members that receive them! Make sure you trust their hand-eye coordination though, the last thing you need is a bunch of bleeding men at your wedding.

4. Ask them to say a prayer or give a toast at your rehearsal dinner! Rehearsal dinners are becoming more and more like a big event by themselves. Extended families are invited, as well as close friends, so what better time to include someone special without asking them to do anything the day of your wedding?

5. A super easy way to include everyone in one swoop is to set up an extra table and ask your loved ones to supply extra treats for the guests!  A dessert table would be a huge hit with your guests, and the special people in your life can be included in you wedding in a memorable way!
