Who Knew the Duggar Girls' Wedding Dresses were so Beautiful??

After a decade on TV with two different shows, 25 magazine covers, and a pretty big scandal (or two...) almost everyone has at least heard of the Duggar family: easily the most famous Independent Fundamentalist Baptist family in the world. I actually grew up in the same religion as the famous Duggars and shared a number of the same rules they live by until I was almost a teen, so I've always been fascinated by the family. It's interesting to see how stylish the girls have grown up to be, even with their ultra modest dress code. Even girls without the strict rules can take some style tips from the older girls, and that includes their choice in wedding and bridesmaid gowns! Check out the gorgeous, modest dresses that got the Duggar seal of approval!

Jill:

As weird as this sounds, Jill had the least "modest" gown of the group! (Is that a shoulder I can almost see??) But, seriously, this dress is super gorgeous! Hugging all the right places and has a super feminine lace overlay that looks good on everybody!

The bridesmaid dresses she chose were also super cute! Check out the length of the dresses: a modest below-knee hemline, but not a horribly unflattering mid-calf. They're also a super trendy color and are just casual enough that these girls could totes where them to church on Sunday!

Jessa:

She didn't get married in white! This light blush wedding gown flows around her so lightly and gracefully and turns her into a princess! It doesn't matter that the family doesn't dance, this dress does all the dancing for her!

These bridesmaid dresses, on the other hand... let's just say "no one is perfect" and move on from these heinous coral numbers. With one ruffle. That diagonals across the chest.
Yeah... I guess no one is perfect.

Jinger:

Jinger's one requirement for her wedding dress was that it had a "Train meant for royalty." She even went so far as to check out the back of the dress before she even looked at the front! I would say that she definitely found just that! And those lace sleeves are so delicate and lovely and perfectly accent that amazing train!

And lets just take a moment to look at these bridesmaids! The mixed colors compliment each other gorgeously! I'm just so in love with this aesthetic!

Joy-Anna:

This lovely, classic lace gown is simply stunning. The illusion sleeves were added on later, but accent the dress perfectly! This is the kind of wedding gown little girls dream of as kids!

No one looks bad in navy blue! The bridesmaids wore simple navy dresses that work for all body types (which is good, since a number of them were preggers at the time!) Plus! These dresses are super versatile and can (and probably will be) worn for date night or as a guest to another wedding!
