5 Ways To Make Your Wedding Unique

     Do you dream of a day unlike any others that will make your special day as memorable for your guests as it is for you? Here are a few ideas to help you stand out!

1. Have a mixed bridal party! It is becoming trendy to have a "bridesman" or a "groomslady", but why stop at one? Why not have your entire wedding party mixed? Unless all of the most important people in your lives happen to be the same gender as you have a mix! Guys, girls, nonbinary- whoever they are, don't let gender stop them from standing up there supporting YOU!

2. Can't settle on a theme? Don't! Make every table completely different! Take the miss-matched table trend to a whole new level. Not only will it be fun to look at all of the different themes, but it will make decorations cheaper too! Since you only need enough of a certain decor for each table, most if what you need could easily be found at rummage sales or thrift stores!

3. With the pandemic running rampant, you might be planning a smaller ceremony and reception. Make your reception unique by throwing a mystery dinner reception! Once all of the RSVPs are in, you can either hire someone to write up a wedding-themed mystery or even try out writing it yourself! You and your guests will have a blast acting out roles and guessing the culprit(s)! 

4. Instead of using flowers for your bouquet, carry lanterns, baskets, fans, hand sanitizer (for the more humorous approach), or even just leaves or herbs! This could also be your chance to honor a family member in a big way- if your Grandma loves tea, carry teapots. If your Grandpa is a fan of Superman, add his symbol to your set. The options are endless!

5.  Though your wedding is entirely yours and you can do whatever you want with it, no matter the time of year- the presence of COVID-19 makes a perfect excuse to have a Halloween-themed wedding no matter the time of year! If your guests have to wear a mask anyway, so just have everyone dress up! This could go hand-in-hand with a mystery dinner or you could dance to the Monster Mash among monsters!
